Mirazul Islam

I'm a motivated research student who is still chasing childhood dream. I was born in a small village in Magura, Khulna, Bangladesh and I have two siblings. My parents are leaving in Magura and I occasionally visit them especially during Eid or long vacation. I did my High School (10th grade) from Boshur Dhuljuri High School, Mohammadpur, Magura and came to Dhaka (capital of Bangladesh) for my College (11th and 12th grade). After that, I got admission to the University of Dhaka and finished my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology(2014). Then I came to the University of Malaya, Malaysia, for my MSc (Pharmacology Department) under Yayasan Khazanah Scholarship. After finishing my MSc, I came to Harvard Medical School and now working at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I also have a secondary affiliation at the Broad Institute. I am working in both computational and experimental cancer biology.
